Felistas Tshuma

Felistas is a mother of two from Zimbabwe who was inspired to become a nurse by her aunt. She qualified as a nurse in 2009 and started working in a hospital in Zimbabwe, eventually progressing into a nursing career in Namibia. She wanted to come to the UK to explore new career opportunities and experience new things. After passing IELTS and CBT, she had unfortunate encounters with another agency and experienced delays with interviews. Thankfully, she was referred to IANS by a friend, and her journey to the UK soon began! On 25 June 2019, she interviewed with Carebase, and the next day, she received her offer letter. After a month of getting documents together and completing requirements, her CoS (Certificate of Sponsorship) was assigned on 29 July 2019. Her visa application was submitted on 12 August 2019, and her appointment scheduled on 19 August 2019. Her visa was soon granted on 30 August 2019, and a flight was booked for her immediately. After settling all of her affairs in Africa, she arrived in the UK on 18 September 2019. Now, she is excited to start working in the UK, and training to pass OSCE. All thanks to IANS, her dreams have come true!
