International recruitment generated us £108,000 in 4 weeks

">
Like most home care providers, we at IANS Domiciliary Care rely on carers to deliver our service. But unlike all of them, we do not struggle in picking up packages of care because we have an abundance of carers.

You ask, why? The answer is simple - that is because we are a Home Office-approved sponsor and therefore we can enjoy the many benefits of international recruitment.

So Let's break these benefits down one by one and see if they are worth having:

Benefit #1, you can hire FOREIGN WORKERS.

You could increase your advertising budget, make very attractive salary offers, or even pay recruitment agencies hefty fees but you will never find carers in all four corners of the United Kingdom. Because truth be told we don't have them - end of story!

In fact, the Home Office announced on 24 December 2021 that the job title, 'care assistant' will be added to the Shortage Occupation List in response to pandemic pressures beginning 15 February 2021. If you have a sponsor licence, it means you can employ two groups of international workers who are eligible to do the role:

  • those who are in the UK on student visas or any type of visa longer than 6 months and
  • those who are outside the UK, both EU and non-EU nationals

Benefit #2, you can build STABLE WORKFORCE.

Whether you need a carer driver or carer non-driver, the options overseas are endless. With a sponsor licence, suddenly you gain back the power of recruitment. Gone are the days when your service is interrupted by joiners who leave after a week or so.

In other words, you can carefully recruit based not only on your role requirements but also on values. It is also open to you to consider applicants from different cultures, providing you diverse team.

On Tuesday, 1 February 2022, Waleed, a Lebanese carer got his skilled worker visa to the UK after 10 days from submitting it through our help. He was recruited by our Dubai office. Waleed lives in Abu Dhabi.

This is an interesting story for all of us because he is the first Arabic carer we have successfully helped to work in the UK under the skilled worker visa category.

He will be working for a home care provider in Belfast. Check this out to see what countries are represented by our workforce.

Benefit #3, you can provide CONSISTENT CARE.

Imagine your residents are receiving care from the same carer day in and day out every day? Not only they and their family members will be very happy about the care they are receiving, the local authority you are working with and your care regulator will be even more thrilled to work with you in the foreseeable future.

This means acquiring a renewed reputation of having the ability to cover all the gaps in the areas you work in.

Here's what Robert Beardwell, contracts relationship manager of Hampshire County Council has to say of their experience in working with us:
IANS has cleared our backlogs and handbacks in two zones in Hampshire within 4 weeks of working with us. Majority of those packages of care on the waiting list for a long time were picked  up by IANS day after day. And the quality of carers they have are superb. They are all loved and adored by our residents!

Benefit #4, you can increase STAFF RETENTION.

Did you know that you can sponsor an international carer
from 3 to 5 years, although the majorityMARVELOUS4(reduced2)-1 choose a three-year contract, to begin with?

That's a clear benefit! Knowing that you can retain your care staff for a period of three years will give you peace of mind. You will also save inherent costs from rehiring and retraining newly recruited staff. This certainty further supports the consistency of care you can provide to your community.

Marvellous here, runs a supported living service in Swindon. Within days of engaging us, she successfully recruited twenty carers from 8 countries and is super excited for them to join her team very shortly.

Benefit #5, you can boost CARE CAPACITY.

I have spoken to countless of home care providers across the country, and they all have the same problem.
They say the same thing, 'We have contracts and tenders left and right but unable to accept care packages due to shortage of care staff.'

Here's what Marvellous Ford, Registered Manager of MT Supported Living, has to say:
Before IANS, there was so much work to do, but we don't have staff. We tried joining open day and posting on job boards, but no results. When I learned about IANS, I realized I could cover new contracts. In just two days, I already have 20 candidates for interview. I was amazed because they were all outstanding. I'd say the time of struggle is over. And I would say to other care providers, try IANS. They're the best. Because of IANS, now I know I can, and I'm going to be unstoppable."
That's how you boost your care capacity. And the best part is your revenue gets the same boost at the same time.

Here's a nice vlog for you to watch if you got spare 8 minutes.

On 22 November 2021, I decided to work with Hampshire County Council (HCC) as a home care provider. They were struggling with handbacks and the absence of care agencies that could accept care packages in all fifteen zones they operate in. I offered them a very bold proposition. Work with me, and we will cover all the gaps in the areas you struggle with the most.

They doubted me at first, but they were out of options and decided to partner with us. Four weeks later, they offered us another zone to work at. That generated my business an additional £108,000.00 in revenue.

Want the same results? Book a call here with me, and let's talk about sponsor licence and international recruitment.
