There are beautiful, mature gardens and outside seating areas at Bramhall Manor along with extensive terrace areas to the first and second floors.
The care home offers care and support in conjunction with Stockport NHS Foundation Trust for residents who no longer need to be in hospital but need further therapeutic assistance before they return home.
We provide 4 main services in our home.
Nursing Care
At New Care we understand that every resident is unique with individual care requirements. Residents with nursing needs receive care that reflects their physical, psychological and emotional abilities. The team work closely with residents and other healthcare professionals as we strive to provide the very best evidence based care. In every New Care home, highly trained and dedicated staff are on hand 24 hours every day of the year to provide nursing support to residents. We are able to care for people with a wide range of health needs and who may need more care than can be properly provided in their own home or in a residential care setting.
Dementia Care
New Care supports residents living with dementia within our dedicated care environments designed specifically to ensure comfort and familiarity for those living with memory loss, adapted to suit more complex health needs. We invest positively in staff training and strive to ensure that we remain at the forefront of care provision surrounding dementia
Residential Care
New Care’s residential care service supports the older generation who are finding it increasing difficult to remain independent at home. In addition to assistance with personal care and support, each home offers a social element to promote a sense of wellbeing which we believe cannot be underestimated. Individuals are treated with respect, offered support with kindness and receive professional care that helps to retain their independence yet enhances the quality of their lives.
Respite Care
New Care homes offer respite care for residents requiring residential, nursing or dementia care. A respite stay may be required as convalescence after surgery, illness or because the residents usual care giver is on holiday or just needs a break themselves. A resident staying in a New Care home for a period of respite has access to all the facilities within the home and has the same pre admission assessment and care options as those who live with us on a permanent basis. It is not unusual for a resident to return for repeated respite stays or to even to make the decision to stay on a permanent basis once they experience life in a New Care home.
