“Not even delays can deter me from my dreams. Just like an arrow that hits its target before it stops, I am very adamant in pursuing my goals until I achieve it. My name is Karen Siman Burgos and I’m from the Philippines. This is the story of how I achieved my UK dream.
I was in the UK as a student between 2008 and 2012. I returned to the Philippines when my visa got expired and since then, I have been doing everything to return to the UK as a skilled worker, but I wasn’t successful. Because of my huge work gaps, no agency was willing to work with me and I almost lost faith that I can ever come back. This all changed when I learned about IANS.
