Senior Carer, Zambia
“There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing your childhood dreams come true, and that’s why I’m here. My name is Merity and my success story started from a small girl’s dream, attained through years of hard work and a bit of luck—and this time, my luck came in a four-letter word.
Caring and people centered, I always found joy in looking after the weak and the vulnerable, especially the ones closest to me. This soon turned into a dream--a dream to become a senior carer in the UK. Right after high school, I’ve worked different jobs before finally pursuing a senior carer course in an institution here in Zambia. A year after, I got my certificate and I started practicing my profession, but my UK dreams were still far-fetched.
It’s a good thing that my sister referred me to IANS. Shortly after joining IANS, she got a UK sponsor, which I thought was next to impossible. We live in an old town where job opportunities are scarce. I was excited for her and I wanted the same results, so I joined IANS webinar. That was the beginning of my new adventure.
IANS sparked hope in the 4-year-old girl in me. They gave me the right tools, the confidence, and the motivation to pursue my dreams and make it happen. IANS is my lucky charm, and I’m grateful for how they’ve supported me since day one.
After attending IANS Senior Carer Webinar, I got an interview for two UK sponsors. Although I didn’t pass my first interview, IANS never stopped looking for new opportunities for me. And now, I have a job offer and I’m bound to process my visa application just 5 months after joining them.
What I didn’t learn from my senior carer institution, I learned from IANS. The opportunities that were beyond my reach, IANS became my bridge. I wouldn’t be here, proud and happy of what I’ve accomplished, if it weren’t for IANS’s brilliant team.”
I got all-in-one training, certification, and immigration services from IANS’ team. IANS offered everything I needed.
IANS found me a UK sponsor after just 5 months of joining their webinar. I am now just waiting for my COS and visa.
