Deeply embedded in providing support and encouraging independence, MT Supported Living creates a place where everyone feels that they are accepted, understood, and cared for... a place where no one is left out... a place where everyone belongs.
As advocates of person-centred care, their care packages are tailored to promote opportunities for recreation, leisure, and learning, while focusing on every individual’s specific skill, needs, and preferences. MT Supported Living is all about giving their service users a collaborative and inclusive experience so they can achieve their full potential and enjoy their day-to-day living.
Through their core values and their vision, MT Supported Living champions diversity and creates an environment where people can create meaningful connections and get the most out their daily experiences.
MT Supported Living challenges the society’s perception on disabilities by creating a supportive environment. Their diverse care packages, which include supported living, domiciliary care, and housing & individual support, are all designed to create person-centred care. But while their vision is cloaked with good intentions, one problem kept them from achieving their goals: STAFF SHORTAGE.
There are a lot of work out there, but, unfortunately, the work cannot be covered. Like other care providers, they tried everything to get more carers into their business. Paid job boards, open days, job centres, agencies—name it and they most probably tried it. Adding to the scarcity of carers is the growing number of care providers, making the competition even stronger. Because there are a lot of care businesses, carers go from one provider to another in just a few months, dipping staff retention rate to its lowest.
All these changed when a friend of Marvelous Ford, registered manager of MT Supported Living, excitedly talked about her experience with IANS. Through IANS, her friend got her sponsor license, and she was able to recruit internationally.
Curious, Marvelous reached out to IANS’ team and never looked back after that call. In her recent interview, she told us:
“I called IANS after working hours. I didn’t expect that they’d pick up, but they did. This shows the level of commitment and support they give their clients. After that phone call, I knew that IANS is an expert. They know the language and they know what they're talking about. Each one of their team, they know what they’re doing, and they’re speedy. In just 2 days, I got 11 candidates. I was amazed because they’re all very good. From the interview, the time, and the candidates, IANS made sure everything was properly in place. There was no issue at all. Because of IANS, I know I can do so much more.”
International recruitment with IANS is the only way forward.
In just 2 days, MT Supported Living got connected not just to 11 candidates, but to 11 eligible and suitable senior carers that are trained and willing to be a part of their business for 3-5 years. A big leap forward, IANS’ all-in-one sponsor license application and recruitment solutions allowed MT Supported Living to extend their care packages and give more to their community. Now, they can say goodbye to old recruitment methods that did not work for them as they begin to meet new demands by adapting to the new recruitment landscape.
