Recruitment Consultant - Remote Working - up to £30k pro rata

We are looking for a passionate, creative and entrepreneurial Recruitment Consultants to join a truly exciting company in the midst of international expansion as their Business Support Executive.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a fast-growing organisation, where you will be intrinsic to their expansion plan and the overall success of the company in the UK.

You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in placing qualified nurses in permanent and temporary roles in NHS hospitals, private hospitals and nursing homes. You will be given a portfolio of live and dormant accounts to grow and manage and new business prospecting will be a key factor in growing your desk.

You will initially telephone canvas and then make face-to-face visits with the hiring manager to secure new contracts and orders for staff. You will be required to write and advertise vacancies, screen and induct new nurses and to ensure you have sufficient pool of candidates to meet your clients ongoing recruitment demands.

Note: This role will be remote although travel to the London office may be required.

This is initially a 6 month contract with a view to the role converting to a permanent position.

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years experience in placing qualified nurses in permanent and temporary roles in NHS hospitals, private hospitals and nursing homes.   • You will initially telephone canvas and then make face-to-face visits with the hiring manager to secure new contracts and orders for staff. You will be required to write and advertise vacancies, screen and induct new nurses and to ensure you have sufficient pool of candidates to meet your clients ongoing recruitment demands.

  • You must have a proven track record of managing and developing a profitable recruitment desk, able to demonstrate ability to retain and grow a stable team of loyal agency workers, have an all round business acumen that covers sales, service and staff retention along with high standards of administration, be able to demonstrate substantial experience of working effectively in a very time and quality critical working environment, enjoy new business development, have knowledge and skills to secure new accounts.

  • Experience in recruiting applicants from overseas an advantage.This is a fantastic opportunity to use your experience and skills as above. You must have permission to work in the UK.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Managing clients’ recruitment needs, visiting and meeting key personnel to build and develop relationships;
  • Building a strong candidate pipeline, maintain rapport, and using candidate tracking skills to continue developing strong leads from referrals, friends and families;
  • Developing a clear and sound knowledge of the healthcare market and use that knowledge to generate leads and obtain new contracts;
  • Identifying and professionally approaching suitable candidates who may already have a role but looking for better career progression and opportunities;
  • Negotiating pay, salary rates and finalizing arrangements between clients and candidates;
  • Ability to present both verbally and using visual aids in presenting business proposals with the aim of closing and bringing in business;
  • Building sustainable relationship with clients and candidates;
  • Maximising every contact, researching the market to find new ways of identifying candidates for placements;
