Sibonile registered as a Mental Health Nurse in South Africa in 2002, and he first came to the UK in 2004 to work for the NHS as an RMN. In 2013, he went back to South Africa to take a job as a Research Nursing Coordinator for the University of Cape Town. During his tenure, IANS approached him and informed him of UK vacancies for RMNs. He jumped at the chance and an interview was scheduled with Elysium Healthcare on 25 April 2019.
On 2 May 2019, he received an offer letter from Elysium. It took a while to get all his references and compliance documents to be completed, but on 31 July 2019, a contract was finally signed between Sibonile and Elysium. His flights were immediately booked soon after on 6 August 2019. After getting all of his affairs in order, he flew to the UK and arrived on 29 August 2019. He is happy to be starting again in the UK, and he is most excited to be living and working in Reading, visiting London from time to time, and working with his employer Elysium to deliver quality care. All thanks to IANS, Sibonile was able to come back to the UK!
