WHAT IS CONNECTIANS? connectIANS© is a bespoke system we developed to manage your compliance around record keeping, reporting and monitoring migrants' immigration status. It also has reporting tools which you can use to provide the Home Office any documents or information they request before, during or after a compliance visit.

HOW DOES A SOLICITOR'S ATTENDANCE HELP US?

Our presence means we can take full notes of the conduct and manner of the visit and offer you support for anything unexpected that might arise during the visit. This written record in turn can be used to further demonstrate your compliance.

WHAT HAPPENS DURING A COMPLIANCE VISIT? The Compliance Officers will audit all your staff files and check everything against a list of your sponsor duties including all the information provided with your sponsor licence application. They will also interview the Authorising Officer and Sponsored Migrants and check if you understand your sponsor duties and are able to demonstrate compliance.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER A COMPLIANCE VISIT? More often than not, you will be asked to provide more documents within an agreed period, normally within 2 days, and a report of the Compliance Officer will be sent to a Caseworker in Sheffield who will then make a decision of the outcome of the visit. The decision could be any of the following: retaining your A-Rating, downgrading your rating, suspending your licence or revoking your licence.
