Country Coordinator

We are looking for highly motivated individuals with great communication skills and has a healthcare background who are confident in discussing internship opportunities in their respective country.

The Country coordinator will be responsible in connecting with the student's submitted placement. Coordinating with the decision maker regarding the student's requirement of doing internship and making sure that placement knows what the student's need to learn.

You will be responsible in making sure that the placement will have a mentor or a coach assigned to the student and that they will be providing work reference by the end of the programme.

Qualifications and Experience

You must have a health care background which can help in identifying suitable placements.
You must have great communication and negotiation skills that will enhance the relationship between you and the placement.
You must have managerial capabilities to oversee the internship of students and making sure that you attend to any matters related to their on the job training.

Duties and Responsibilities

Connecting with hospitals/care homes/nursing homes.
Discuss with placements regarding our SC Momentum Club program and how this helps our students.
Developing a clear and sound knowledge of the benefits that we can bring to the placement in exchange for allowing our students to do their internship.
Educate the mentor/senior care instructor that will be assigned to our student regarding the training matrix that needs to be followed during duration of the internship.
Ensure that there is a clear communication between the placement and you as a representative of IANS to tackle any issues that may arise.
Ability to present both verbally and using visual aids in presenting business proposals with the aim of making the placement understand our values and the goal of our program.
Building sustainable relationship with placements and club members;
Maximising every contact, researching the market to find new ways of identifying placements for our club members;
