OSCE Trainers/Registered Nurse £26,568.00 per annum (37.50 Hours Per Week)

We offer Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) training packages from online learning, to live sessions and face-to-face mocks at our training centre in London. Our pass rate is 100% since we introduced this service in 2015 and because of this, we are experiencing phenomenal growth in our business and therefore we are looking for new OSCE trainers to join our team to meet the demand of our services.

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and compassionate OSCE Trainers who are Registered Nurses or working towards full registration with the NMC.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

To support the Head of Division with the development, management and implementation of IANS bespoke OSCE curriculum to continually assist and prepare our international nurses pass the OSCE examination to obtain professional registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) and work as a Registered Nurse in the United Kingdom.

Principal duties and responsibilities

  • To support the Head of Division with the development, management and implementation of IANS bespoke OSCE curriculum
  • To contribute in the development of a bespoke curriculum in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC) pre-registration standards and competencies for all nurses
  • To successfully implement the IANS Training Centre's operational curriculum and quality plans to individuals or groups
  • To provide academic, professional and practical support to international nurses in preparing for their OSCE examination
  • To assess the performance of the training programme by conducting regular reviews and feedback from users and customers with the view of improving the effectiveness of the curriculum
  • To deputise in the absence of the Head of Division

Job requirements

  • must be a UK Registered Nurse, preferably has obtained pin number through the OSCE route
  • have strong communication skills and ability to make difficult topics easy to understand
  • must have the ability to translate the learning experience of trainees into confidence under examinations conditions
  • excellent knowledge of the NMC Regulations and demonstrable understanding of the UKVI’s Immigration Rules
  • must have extensive experience in teaching or tutoring healthcare professionals or students
